How to watch Hudson Williams’ new series 'Yaga' online: Release date, streaming details and cast
The eight-episode series premieres on Friday with viewers able to stream it online through regional streaming services

Hudson Williams is returning to television with Yaga, a mystery thriller inspired by Slavic folklore that sees the Heated Rivalry star take on a new role in a story involving a missing heir, suspicious characters and ancient magic. The eight-episode series premieres on Friday, October 23, with viewers able to stream it online through regional streaming services.
In the United States, Yaga will be available exclusively on AMC+, while Canadian audiences can watch the series on Crave. The show will also be available on Sky and NOW in the UK and Ireland, with BINGE and Foxtel On Demand carrying it in Australia.
The series launches with its first two episodes on October 23, followed by weekly releases on Fridays. The final two episodes are scheduled to arrive together on November 27.
For viewers in the United States, AMC+ offers subscription plans with and without adverts, as well as a seven-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. The service is also available through Prime Video Channels. Availability and trial terms may vary by platform and location.
Yaga follows private investigator Charlie Rapp, played by Noah Reid, who arrives in the coastal town of Whittock to investigate the disappearance of Henry Park, a young heir to a powerful fishing business portrayed by Williams. The investigation brings Rapp into conflict with local detective Carson, played by Clark Backo, and university professor Katherine, portrayed by Carrie-Anne Moss.
Williams plays both Henry Park and his look-alike roommate, Logan Casey, adding another layer of mystery to the story. The series combines a police investigation with supernatural elements, dark humour, complicated relationships and a reimagining of the legendary witch Baba Yaga.
The cast also includes Sheila McCarthy, Megan Follows, Ezra Franky, Patrick Gilmore, Katharine Isabelle and Hiro Kanagawa. Kat Sandler created the television adaptation from her own stage play and serves as its writer and showrunner.
The series marks Williams’ first major television role following his breakout success in Heated Rivalry, in which he plays hockey star Shane Hollander opposite Connor Storrie as Ilya Rozanov. His casting has brought additional attention to Yaga, which offers a markedly different story from the romantic sports drama.
With its mix of folklore, mystery and crime, Yaga gives Williams an opportunity to explore a darker role while reuniting audiences with familiar faces from Canadian television.
