ECP lists Punjab, Pindi cantonment LG cases

The ECP will hear key cases concerning local government elections in Punjab and Rawalpindi Cantonment on October 28, directing senior officials of the Punjab government and the defence establishment to appear before it to present their positions.

According to the revised cause list issued by the ECP on Thursday, the commission has directed the Punjab chief secretary and secretary local government to appear in person in connection with the case.

The commission will also hear a case concerning local government elections in the cantonment boards on the same day.
