Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig are engaged, marking a new chapter in their relationship following their respective divorces from former television personalities Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes.

Shue, best known for his role in Melrose Place, proposed to Fiebig in spring 2026. The couple confirmed their engagement in an interview with People, expressing gratitude and optimism about their future together.

Fiebig was previously married to Holmes, while Shue was married to Robach. Their relationship developed after the two became friends, eventually growing closer as they navigated the aftermath of their respective separations.

Speaking about their journey, Shue described their relationship as a positive outcome following a difficult period in both their lives. He said the experience involved pain, struggle and humility, adding that love becomes meaningful when a person moves from focusing on their own needs to giving to someone else.

The engagement brings renewed attention to the unusual connection between the two couples, whose personal lives became a subject of public interest after Robach and Holmes' relationship emerged in 2022.

At the time, Robach and Holmes were co-anchors on Good Morning America. Their romance attracted widespread media attention as details of their respective marriages and subsequent separations became public.

Robach and Holmes later pursued their relationship publicly. According to TMZ's report, the pair applied for a marriage licence in Arkansas in October 2026, with their relationship continuing to draw attention.

Meanwhile, Shue and Fiebig have built their connection away from their former spouses' high-profile romance. Their engagement signals their plans to marry, although further details about their wedding arrangements have not been announced in the report.

The news highlights how both former couples have moved forward with their personal lives, with Shue and Fiebig now preparing for marriage after finding companionship in the wake of their previous relationships.
