Harry Potter star Bonnie Wright has welcomed her second child with husband Andrew Lococo, announcing the birth of their baby boy on social media.

The actress, 35, who portrayed Ginny Weasley in the popular film franchise, shared the news on Instagram on Sunday, October 18. She also revealed the newborn’s name as Aster Sky Wright Lococo and shared photographs of him alongside his older brother, Elio, 3.

“Say hello to our son Aster Sky Wright Lococo born at home on the 28th September,” Wright wrote, explaining that his name was inspired by a star-shaped flower.

“Our little star has been showered in love by his big brother Elio. Thank you universe for my loving bundle of boys!” she added.

Wright also thanked the birth professionals who supported her during the home birth.

The announcement received congratulatory messages from her former Harry Potter co-stars. Evanna Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood, celebrated the arrival of the newborn, while Katie Leung, known for her role as Cho Chang, also shared her congratulations.

The actress first announced her second pregnancy in April through an Instagram post featuring photographs of herself with her growing baby bump and Elio.

“Two babies on my lap,” she wrote at the time, revealing that their second child was expected to arrive in autumn.

Wright and Lococo began dating in 2020 and married in March 2022. The couple welcomed their first child, Elio, in September 2023.

Beyond acting, Wright founded Earthling, a family-focused community. She has also shared glimpses of family life on social media, including outdoor activities and everyday moments with her eldest son.

With the arrival of Aster Sky, Wright and Lococo have expanded their family to four. The actress’s announcement offered fans a first look at the newborn and a glimpse of Elio’s new role as a big brother.
