Gypsy Rose Blanchard involved in car crash weeks after partner’s death

Gypsy Rose Blanchard involved in Louisiana car crash, causing minor damage with no injuries or arrests reported

Gypsy Rose Blanchard was involved in a car crash in Louisiana on October 17, with authorities confirming that the collision caused minor property damage but resulted in no reported injuries or arrests.

The Louisiana State Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE that officers responded to a minor collision involving Blanchard, 35, and an unidentified man in Terrebonne Parish on Saturday.

According to authorities, the incident resulted in minor damage to property. No injuries were reported, and police confirmed that no arrests were made following the crash.

The incident first gained public attention after TMZ reported that a Facebook user had claimed their vehicle was sideswiped by Blanchard. The individual reportedly posted about the alleged collision on social media, writing, “2026 is wild. Just got sideswiped by Gypsy Rose. FML.”

The circumstances surrounding the collision have not been fully detailed in the available reports.

The Louisiana car crash comes weeks after Blanchard’s partner, Ken Urker, died on October 1, his 34th birthday. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office previously confirmed that deputies were called to a residence in Raceland at around 6:15pm local time, where Urker was found dead upon arrival.

Urker’s death was confirmed by his sister, Autumn, in a TikTok livestream on October 1. His passing prompted an outpouring of messages from supporters, while Blanchard later thanked followers for their condolences.

Blanchard first connected with Urker while she was incarcerated for her involvement in the 2015 murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. Their relationship continued after her release from prison.

Following the latest incident, authorities have confirmed that the crash involved property damage only, with no reported injuries or arrests. Further details about the collision have not been made public.
