The Santa Monica Police Department previously confirmed that officers found Presley dead upon arriving at the facility. Authorities said the death was being investigated as a suspected overdose, with no indication of foul play. The official cause and manner of death had not been determined in the report.

Presley had previously spoken publicly about his mental health and struggles with substance use. His family had reportedly supported him through various treatment options, including therapy and rehabilitation.
