Alex Cooper poses nude at nine months pregnant ahead of welcoming first baby

Alex Cooper has shared a series of intimate maternity photographs, posing nude at nine months pregnant as she prepares to welcome her first child with husband Matt Kaplan.

The Call Her Daddy host, 32, posted the photographs on Instagram on October 15, capturing the final weeks of her pregnancy. In one black-and-white image, Cooper stands sideways against a plain backdrop, holding her pregnant belly while covering her chest with one hand. Other photographs highlight her baby bump and the silhouette of her body.

“The most transformative 9 months of my life,” Cooper wrote in the caption, reflecting on the experience of becoming a mother. The post attracted hundreds of thousands of likes, with friends and fans sharing messages of support in the comments.

Fellow podcast host Morgan Stewart reacted to the photographs by writing, “GORGEOUS ❤️”. Hallie Batchelder, whose podcast Extra Dirty is part of Cooper’s Unwell Network, also congratulated the soon-to-be mother, writing, “You look amazing can’t wait to meet Bebe.”

The maternity shoot comes days after Cooper shared another Instagram carousel documenting the final stretch of her pregnancy. Captioning the post “Final countdown”, she included selfies and photographs taken throughout the preceding weeks, offering followers a glimpse of her preparations for motherhood.

Cooper announced in May that she and Kaplan were expecting their first child together. The couple shared photographs of the podcast host showing her growing baby bump alongside her husband, captioning the announcement, “Our family 🤍”.

The pregnancy marks a new chapter for Cooper, who previously spoke about postponing plans to start a family so she could focus on her relationship, career and personal growth.

During a June episode of Call Her Daddy, titled My Pregnancy Story, Cooper explained that she and Kaplan had mutually decided to pause their plans to have a child in the summer of 2024 because she did not feel ready for motherhood at the time.

“I wanted to prioritise our relationship. I wanted to prioritise work and I wanted, honestly, most importantly, to prioritise myself,” she said, explaining that she needed more time before taking on the responsibilities of parenthood.

By 2026, Cooper said she felt she had accomplished what she wanted professionally and personally, and was ready for the next stage of her life.

“I couldn’t be happier that I waited and I couldn’t be happier for this next chapter of my life,” she said.

In August, Cooper also spoke to PEOPLE about her pregnancy while discussing her partnership with Babylist, which involved helping clear baby registries for expectant parents. She said one of the biggest surprises had been how little people discussed the practical and financial challenges of preparing for a baby.

“There’s so much focus on the exciting milestones, but there’s also a huge learning curve, a lot of uncertainty, and a very real financial side to preparing for a baby,” she explained, adding that every pregnancy experience is different.

Cooper and Kaplan married in April 2024 in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Kaplan, 42, is a film producer, while Cooper has built a major media business through Call Her Daddy and the Unwell Network, which she founded with her husband.

As she approaches her due date, Cooper’s latest photographs offer a personal reflection on a period she has described as transformative, marking the final weeks before the couple welcome their first child.
