Selena Gomez reveals she’d rather take marriage advice from Taylor Swift despite being married longer

Selena Gomez has revealed that her best friend, Taylor Swift, may be better at giving marriage advice, despite Gomez having been married for longer.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the singer was asked about offering Swift advice after celebrating her first wedding anniversary.

The interviewer remarked that it was “so wild” that both friends were now married.

Gomez reportedly suggested that she would rather receive advice from Swift than offer it herself.

“I think she’s probably the best to give me that,” she said. When the interviewer appeared surprised, Gomez replied, “Yeah.” The interviewer described the exchange as “beautiful”.

Gomez married music producer Benny Blanco in September 2025 in Santa Barbara, California.

Swift attended the wedding. The pop star has since married American football player Travis Kelce, meaning the two friends tied the knot just months apart.

Blanco recently reflected on their first year of marriage, saying it had passed so quickly that he could hardly believe their anniversary had arrived.

He also joked that Gomez might not have chosen the right man.

The exchange took place during a red-carpet interview at a Rare Impact Fund benefit hosted by Gomez to support her mental health initiative.
