Kendall Jenner has offered a rare glimpse into her dating life, joking that being a lesbian would make relationships easier while addressing long-running speculation about her sexuality during a candid conversation with longtime friend Cara Delevingne on The Kardashians.

In the October 15 episode of the reality series, the 30-year-old model spoke to Delevingne backstage at the L’Oréal Paris Fashion Week show about rumours that the pair had previously dated. Jenner explained that speculation about her sexuality had persisted because of their close friendship.

“We should address this,” Jenner said. “It’s because of our love for each other. People think I’m a lesbian to this day.”

Jenner then clarified that she is not a lesbian, with Delevingne confirming that she knew her friend well enough to support the statement. However, Jenner admitted that she sometimes wonders whether dating women would be easier.

“By the way, I wouldn’t be opposed to having some fun with a girl, let me tell you,” she said, before adding, “For the record, I think being a lesbian would be fun and amazing and easier? I don’t know. Men suck.”

Despite the playful remarks, Jenner made it clear that she had never felt a desire to pursue relationships with women. “I have nothing against having sex with Cara. I just have never had a desire to have sex with women,” she explained, joking that she had consumed too much wine and needed to calm down.

Delevingne embraced the conversation, asking Jenner which woman she would choose if she ever decided to have sex with one. Jenner immediately named her friend, explaining that Delevingne was the only woman she knew who would be nice to her.

The discussion took place in September 2025, when the pair were spending time together during Paris Fashion Week. It also addressed speculation that they had once been romantically involved, something Jenner firmly denied.

The model explained that she and Delevingne had been friends for approximately 11 or 12 years. She credited Delevingne with helping her feel safe and welcome when she was establishing herself in the modelling industry.

“I love Cara. She’s my sister, and that never happened,” Jenner said of the dating rumours.

Jenner has previously spoken about the speculation surrounding her sexuality, including in a January 2026 appearance on Owen Thiele’s podcast In My Dreams. At the time, she criticised the hostility directed towards her online, explaining that the rumours often came with unkind assumptions rather than genuine acceptance.

The latest comments offer another example of how Jenner is addressing questions about her private life while maintaining the boundaries she has established around her relationships.

The conversation also comes amid reports linking Jenner romantically to actor Jacob Elordi. The pair have reportedly been spending time together since earlier this year and have been spotted on outings in Paris and with other celebrity couples.

According to People, Jenner and Elordi have also gone on double dates with Justin and Hailey Bieber, as well as Jenner’s sister Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet. Sources have described the relationships as comfortable, with the couples sharing similar personalities and lifestyles.

New episodes of The Kardashians air on Thursdays on Hulu.
