Actor Muneeb Butt has advised couples to keep their marital issues private, warning that taking personal disputes to social media invites public scrutiny and criticism rather than helping resolve disagreements.

Speaking in an interview with Vasay Chaudhry, the actor said relationship problems should be addressed privately and respectfully instead of being made public.

“You should always keep your marital issues private and in between four walls. When you put it for the world to see, you leave people to have open opinions on your private life, and people will criticise you for entertainment,” Muneeb said.

He maintained that social media was not the solution to domestic disagreements, encouraging couples to involve their families and parents in resolving conflicts.

“I’d always say house stuff should stay inside the house. Social media doesn’t solve these things. You should sit your family together, parents together, and resolve the issue respectfully,” he added.

One user described the actor as “very mature”, while another commented, “sensible statement”.

Others echoed his view that airing relationship problems publicly could make already difficult situations more complicated.

During the conversation, Muneeb also spoke about his personal life, expressing gratitude for how things had worked out for him.

“All grace to Allah for the way my life has worked out. I fell in love, got married, and we started a family. MashaAllah, I have three daughters,” he said.

The actor also emphasised the importance of maintaining a positive outlook on life and being grateful for one’s blessings.

“If you take everything positively in life, then you will always be thankful of Allah, but if you always find complaints, things won’t work out for you,” he said.
