Traders threaten price hikes over rising costs

Traders' associations representing grocery merchants, milk sellers and beef and mutton retailers have asked the deputy commissioner to immediately convene a meeting of the District Price Control Committee to revise official prices of essential commodities in line with rising market rates following a sharp increase in petrol and diesel prices.
