Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes marry in a private Arkansas wedding nearly four years after their GMA3 exit in 2023

Former GMA3: What You Need to Know co-anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have married in a private ceremony in Arkansas, nearly four years after their relationship became public.

Robach, 53, and Holmes, 49, tied the knot on September 19 in Washington County, according to a marriage licence obtained by PEOPLE. The couple applied for the licence a day before the wedding, and the document was registered with the county clerk’s office on October 13.

The ceremony took place in Holmes’ home state. The journalist was born in West Memphis, Arkansas, and attended the University of Arkansas. Representatives for the couple did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The wedding follows the pair’s engagement in 2025. Robach and Holmes announced the news during an October 14 episode of their Amy & T.J. podcast, revealing they had been engaged for approximately a month.

The couple first attracted public attention in November 2022, when photographs of them together emerged while both were still married to their respective spouses. Robach was married to actor Andrew Shue, while Holmes was married to attorney Marilee Fiebig. PEOPLE previously reported that their relationship did not overlap with their marriages.

Both subsequently divorced their spouses. Robach was previously married to Shue and Tim McIntosh, with whom she shares two daughters, Ava and Annalise. Holmes was previously married to Fiebig.

In May 2026, the couple confirmed that they had chosen a wedding date during an appearance on Bill and Giuliana: The Podcast, although they kept the details of their plans private.

Robach had previously expressed a preference for a smaller, more intimate ceremony, discussing the possibility of a simple wedding during an episode of their podcast in February 2024.

Their marriage marks a new chapter for the former television presenters, whose relationship drew widespread attention following their departure from GMA3 in 2023.
