Shakira breaks Amazon Music livestream record with Madrid concert
Shakira’s Madrid concert became Amazon Music’s most-viewed livestream by female artist, featuring duet with Dua Lipa

Shakira has set a new Amazon Music livestream record with her Madrid concert, which became the platform’s most-viewed livestream performance by a female artist.
The Colombian singer performed on October 3 at Shakira Stadium in Madrid as part of her 12-date residency at the temporary venue.
Amazon Music announced the record on October 4, following the concert’s broadcast across Amazon Music, Prime Video and Twitch.
The performance featured a special appearance by Dua Lipa, who joined Shakira on stage for an acoustic rendition of “Antología”, originally released on Shakira’s 1995 album, Pies Descalzos.
Dua Lipa later shared her appreciation for the performance on Instagram, writing in Spanish, "I felt that you, me, and the audience were one. Very grateful to take home such a beautiful memory!!!"
The appearance followed Dua Lipa’s own performance of “Antología” in Spanish during the Bogotá stop of her Radical Optimism Tour.
Shakira’s Madrid residency forms part of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, which supports her 2024 album of the same name. The singer began the residency on September 18, with the final concert scheduled for October 11.
A temporary venue was constructed at Madrid’s Iberdrola Music complex specifically for the series of performances, giving Shakira a dedicated space for the 12-show run.
The livestream milestone adds to the reach of the residency, extending the concerts beyond audiences attending in person.
