Barbara Palvin celebrates first birthday as a mum with daughter Sylvie

Barbara Palvin celebrated her 33rd birthday with a special milestone this year, marking her first birthday as a mother with heartfelt photographs alongside her daughter, Sylvie.
The model shared a carousel of pictures on Instagram on October 9, one day after her birthday on October 8. In the images, Palvin cradles her baby girl while surrounded by nature. She captioned the post, “becoming an adult in middle-earth 🥔.”
The photographs offered a glimpse into Palvin’s first birthday since becoming a parent with her husband, actor Dylan Sprouse. The couple welcomed their first child in September and announced the news publicly on September 28.
Their announcement hinted that their daughter had arrived earlier that month. The pair wrote, “We took Labor Day literally this year,” suggesting she was born around September 7.
Sprouse later revealed the baby’s name, Sylvie, during an appearance on his Wildmen podcast. The couple also shared a photograph of themselves standing with their daughter in Los Angeles Dodgers jerseys while watching a game on television.
Palvin’s birthday celebrations included time outdoors with her family. Sprouse shared a photograph from their park outing, while a friend posted a video showing the model blowing out candles on her birthday cake among loved ones.
The couple announced their pregnancy on May 14 while attending the 79th annual CANNES FILM FESTIVAL. Their news marked a new chapter for the pair, who married in 2023 after several years together.
Before becoming a father, Sprouse spoke about his excitement and nerves at the prospect of raising a daughter. In an interview on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, he described the experience as unfamiliar, explaining that he came from a family largely made up of boys.
He also noted that Sylvie was the first girl born into the Sprouse family in a long time.
