FAISALABAD:

The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Board of Governors has unanimously approved a balanced budget of Rs2.99 billion for the financial year 2026-27, along with the revised budget for 2025-26.

The board meeting was chaired by Faisalabad Division Commissioner Dr Imran Hamid Sheikh, who presided over the proceedings in accordance with the prescribed rules and regulations.

FDA Director General Chaudhry Muhammad Asif presented the budget estimates and other agenda items.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Deputy Commissioner's Office, Punjab Planning and Development Department, Housing and Urban Development Department, Local Government Department and Finance Department.

FDA Chief Engineer Mehr Ayub and directors Asma Mohsin, Junaid Hassan Manj, Yasar Ejaz Chattha, Asim Mahmood and Afnan Saeed Sindhu were also present.
