Taylor Swift leads 2026 Kids’ Choice Awards nominations as Alex Warren set to host
Swift has earned six nods, followed by Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter with five nominations

Taylor Swift leads the nominations for the 2026 Kids’ Choice Awards, while Grammy-nominated singer Alex Warren has been announced as the host of this year’s ceremony.
The nominations were revealed on October 8, with Swift earning six nods, followed by Ariana Grande and Sabrina Carpenter with five nominations each. The annual awards ceremony, which celebrates children’s favourite stars, films, television shows, music, gaming and creators, will take place live from Los Angeles on Saturday, November 14.
Swift is nominated across several categories, including Favourite Female Artist, Favourite Song for The Fate of Ophelia, Favourite Music Collaboration for The Life of a Showgirl with Sabrina Carpenter, Favourite Album for The Life of a Showgirl and Favourite Global Music Star for North America.
Grande’s nominations include Favourite Female Artist, Favourite Movie Actress for Wicked: For Good, Favourite Song for “hate that i made you love me”, Favourite Song from a Movie for “For Good” with Cynthia Erivo and Favourite Music Collaboration for “The Life of a Showgirl” with Swift and Carpenter. Carpenter is also nominated for Favourite Female Artist, Favourite Breakout Artist/Group, Favourite Song for “Manchild”, Favourite Music Collaboration and Favourite Album for Man’s Best Friend.
The film categories feature several major releases, including Avatar: Fire and Ash, How to Train Your Dragon, Jurassic World Rebirth, Lilo & Stitch, Moana, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Superman and Wicked: For Good in the Favourite Movie category.
On television, Wednesday, Stranger Things, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Abbott Elementary, Ginny & Georgia and XO, Kitty are among the nominated shows. Meanwhile, KPop Demon Hunters, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Toy Story 5 and Zootopia 2 feature in the animated categories.
The 2026 ceremony will also introduce three new categories: Watch Party: Kids’ Choice, Favourite On-Screen Duo/Trio and Favourite Clutch Player of the Year. The latter category includes athletes such as Caleb Williams, Eileen Gu, Freddie Freeman, Hilary Knight, Jack Hughes, Jalen Brunson, Nelly Korda and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Warren, who earned his Grammy nomination for his breakout hit Ordinary, will take over hosting duties for the ceremony. Musical performances and additional celebrity appearances will be announced at a later date.
Fans can vote across all 36 categories, putting the final results in the hands of the Kids’ Choice Awards audience. The ceremony will air live on CBS and Nickelodeon for the first time, while Paramount+ Premium subscribers in the US will also be able to stream the event live.
