Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Whitney Rose has filed for divorce from her husband, Justin Rose, after 16 years of marriage.

Whitney submitted the divorce filing in the Third District Court of Salt Lake City on October 6, according to records obtained by E! News. The filing includes a proposed parenting plan, while the petition itself has been sealed.

The divorce filing comes around three months after Whitney and Justin’s separation was confirmed in July. The couple share two children, Bobbie, 16, and Brooks, 13.

Their relationship has been featured throughout the first six seasons of RHOSLC, with the couple documenting various challenges in their marriage on the Bravo reality series.

The seventh season has also addressed the strain in their relationship. In the Season 7 trailer, Whitney questioned whether they could continue their marriage.

“I don’t know if you and I can move forward in our marriage,” Whitney told Justin in the trailer, “or it’s over.”

Whitney and Justin had previously marked their 16th wedding anniversary in November 2025. At the time, Whitney reflected on their relationship and described wax as a symbol of the flexibility and warmth needed for a couple to build a life together.

“The wax represents the flexibility and the warmth that a couple needs to mold their lives together over time,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

Justin also reflected on their relationship in a 2022 post, describing the year as one that had “thrown us some curveballs” while celebrating another year with Whitney by his side.

The latest divorce filing now marks a new chapter for the couple following their reported separation earlier this year.
