Simu Liu and Allison Hsu are married after nearly four years together, with the couple tying the knot in France over the weekend of October 3.

The Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star, 37, and Hsu, 30, married nearly four years after they were first romantically linked in 2022.

People reported that a source confirmed the marriage, while TMZ was the first to report the wedding.

Liu and Hsu made their relationship public on Instagram on November 20, 2022, and appeared together at the Violent Night premiere in Los Angeles later that month.

The couple announced their engagement on May 11, 2025, in a joint Instagram post featuring photographs from Paris.

Liu proposed with the Eiffel Tower and a candlelit floral display in the background.

Hsu captioned the engagement announcement, “Us forever 💍💍💍🤍🤍🤍”.

Liu later wrote, “From weekends in Paris, day trips to Palm Springs, long nights on set, afternoons vegging on the couch and everything in between, I choose you forever and always.”

Speaking to People in 2023, Liu said, “She’s absolutely changed my life, so I’m very, very grateful to have her.”

He also described their relationship as one in which he felt “challenged and loved and cared for”.

In November 2025, Liu told Entertainment Tonight that he had “gone full creative director” for the proposal.

The couple’s wedding follows months of planning. Liu previously said the process had been “relatively pain-free and joyous”, with “good music” among their priorities.
