Chad Lowe's 13-year-old daughter Fiona's cause of death revealed

The cause and manner of death of Chad Lowe’s 13-year-old daughter, Fiona Hepler Lowe, have been released following her death on September 29.
The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner confirmed on October 1 that Fiona died in hospital and that her death was determined to be a suicide. The case remains open.
Lowe and his wife, Kim Painter, announced Fiona’s death in a statement to People on September 29, describing their daughter as “a loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance.”
“She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents,” the family said. “In fact, she was the light of our lives. Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time.”
The family also shared information about the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, encouraging anyone experiencing mental health difficulties to seek support.
Fiona was born in November 2012 to Lowe and Painter, who married in 2010. The couple also have daughters Mabel, 17, and Nixie Barbara, 10.
Lowe, 58, is known for his acting work, including his role in the ABC series Life Goes On. He is the younger brother of actor Rob Lowe.
The family’s statement asked for privacy as they mourn Fiona’s death.
