Amelia Dimoldenberg’s popular interview series Chicken Shop Date is coming to Netflix, with its final season set to premiere on the streaming platform alongside new episodes on YouTube and social media.
According to Variety, the final season will debut on October 2, with new episodes becoming available on Netflix at the same time they are released through Dimoldenberg’s existing digital channels. Netflix will also add a selection of previous Chicken Shop Date episodes to its catalogue.
The Netflix library will include interviews with high-profile guests such as Andrew Garfield, Damson Idris, Central Cee, Sabrina Carpenter, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman and Jack Harlow.
Dimoldenberg launched Chicken Shop Date in 2014. The series has since released 115 episodes, featuring the host’s trademark deadpan and often flirtatious interviews with celebrities in local chicken shops. The show initially focused largely on British rappers before expanding to include major musicians, actors and other public figures.
Past guests have included Jennifer Lawrence, Paul Mescal, Cynthia Erivo and Paul McCartney.
The series won the Streamy Award for Best Indie Series in 2022, while Dimoldenberg was named to Time magazine’s inaugural Time100 Creators list in 2025. She has also worked with the Academy as a social media ambassador and red carpet correspondent at the Oscars, according to Variety.
Dimoldenberg directs Chicken Shop Date and produces the series through her Dimz Inc. banner. Diara Vassallo Ndiaye and Zoe Dimoldenberg also serve as producers, with Ashleigh Kybert as head of content and social.
