Elizabeth Holmes posts message from prison ahead of 'You Can See Everything' release

Elizabeth Holmes has posted a message from prison ahead of her planned move to a halfway house and the release of the documentary You Can See Everything.

The Theranos founder, who is serving an 11-year prison sentence for fraud, shared the message on X and explained that she would begin personally writing some posts on her account.

Her social media team has managed the account since her 2022 sentencing, with her bio stating that it is “mostly my words, posted by others.”

“I was silenced for a long time. And then imprisoned. I am fighting to prove my innocence and come home to my babies and the love of my life. I have now been imprisoned for 1,216 endless days and nights,” Holmes wrote.

She said her loved ones had helped manage the account while she continued to fight for her freedom. Holmes also thanked her partner Billy Evans, with whom she has two children.

“Billy is one of the people carrying that responsibility for me. He fights fiercely for me and our family. I love him beyond space and time,” she wrote.

Holmes said posts written by her would now be marked “-EAH”, while posts without the signature would continue to come from the team managing the account.

The post included a photograph of Holmes and Evans. The couple previously invited documentary filmmakers Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim into their home to document their lives ahead of Holmes’ prison sentence.

You Can See Everything, an A24 documentary, is scheduled for release on Oct. 16. The film made its debut at the Telluride Film Festival and is due to screen at the New York Film Festival this week.
