Kaia Gerber has reportedly postponed several professional commitments following the death of her older brother, Presley Gerber, with a source saying the loss has not yet “sinking in” for the model and actress.

According to the supplied report, a source close to the family told the Daily Mail that Kaia had a packed schedule but has delayed work while she mourns Presley, who died aged 27 on September 20.

“Kaia had a packed schedule, and she has delayed a lot of her work stuff to deal with this. Everyone has been understanding,” the source said. “I don't know when she will go back to work.”

Another source said Kaia was struggling to comprehend her brother’s death. “Kaia is very sad; it's hard for her to believe her brother is gone forever. It's not sinking in just yet; it's a lot to digest, understandably,” they said.

The source added that the family is concerned about Kaia but said she has support from longtime friends. “Everyone in the family is worried about Kaia; they fear she won't be able to handle this, but she has a good network around her. She has old friends that are making her feel better,” the insider said.

Kaia is reportedly being supported by her parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, boyfriend Lewis Pullman and longtime friends. “Her biggest allies are her parents and her boyfriend Lewis, even his dad Bill,” the source said.

The siblings reportedly shared a close relationship, with the source saying, “She and Presley were best friends.”

Presley was found unresponsive at Resolutions Living, a recovery facility in Santa Monica, California, on September 20. Police are investigating his death as a suspected overdose, but the official cause and manner of death remain undetermined.
