Nathan Fielder’s Elizabeth Holmes documentary 'You Can See Everything' gets a trailer ahead of its October 16 release

The first trailer for You Can See Everything, the upcoming Elizabeth Holmes documentary from Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, has been released ahead of its theatrical debut.

The documentary focuses on Holmes, the disgraced Theranos founder, during the period leading up to her departure for federal prison. Fielder embedded himself with Holmes and her family, including her husband, Billy Evans, to document their lives as she prepared to begin her sentence.

You Can See Everything made a surprise appearance at the Telluride Film Festival, where it reportedly received strong attention from audiences. The documentary has since generated further interest among film fans because of its unusual access to Holmes and her family.

The new trailer offers a glimpse into the film’s approach, with Fielder observing Holmes and Evans during a significant period in their lives. The documentary explores the people surrounding Holmes while maintaining an observational perspective on the events unfolding around them.

Holmes’ Theranos story has previously been explored in both documentary and scripted formats. Alex Gibney directed the 2019 documentary The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley, while Hulu dramatized the story in the miniseries The Dropout, starring Amanda Seyfried as Holmes.

Fielder, known for projects including The Rehearsal and The Curse, co-directed You Can See Everything with Oppenheim, whose previous work includes the documentary Spermworld.

The documentary will screen at the New York Film Festival on September 30. Select theatres have already begun selling tickets, with nationwide ticket sales scheduled to start October 1.

You Can See Everything will arrive in theatres on October 16.
