Presley Gerber dies at 27: Inside model's final posts on Instagram before tragic death

Presley Gerber’s final Instagram post featured a series of modelling photographs shared weeks before his death at the age of 27.

The images showed Cindy Crawford’s son posing outdoors near foliage and a statue while modelling clothing.

In several photographs, Gerber appeared to be smiling as he continued to build his career in fashion.

Following news of his death, the post attracted messages from fans and public figures. One person recalled meeting Gerber during Men’s Fashion Week in Milan in 2017.

“Your mental health Mondays helped me. Really missed them when you stopped. 🤍🕊️” another commenter wrote.

Gerber had previously used Instagram to discuss his experiences with mental health and addiction.

In March, he shared a post about recovery, describing a difficult period in his life and the lessons he had taken from it.

“My mantras were love yourself … gotta be the last time for this reason. letting go of control didn’t come easy, but I trusted there was something bigger than me guiding it. I knew why I was there. I faced what I had been running from, and somewhere in all of it, i started finding my way back to myself 🤍…. We shall see…. Praying it’s the last time I have to come back. Next time I’d like to choose 😜 🙏🏻”

Gerber also previously posted about taking a break from sharing his mental health journey online while focusing on his own wellbeing.

His death was reported on September 20. According to records cited by People, he died at a rehabilitation facility.

 His cause of death has not been announced, and an autopsy is pending.
