'Rose Hill' adds five stars to Amazon’s upcoming Elsie Silver series

Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming Rose Hill series has expanded its cast with three new series regulars and two recurring guest stars.

Siobhan McGroarty, Sophia Reid-Gantzert and West Mulholland have joined the television adaptation of Elsie Silver’s Rose Hill novels as series regulars. Gigi Zumbado and Curtis Hamilton will appear in recurring guest roles.

The new cast members join previously announced leads Jake Weary, Sean O’Pry, Hannah Galway and Sadie Dickerson. The series is being developed as a romantic family drama based on Silver’s bestselling book series.

Rose Hill follows best friends and neighbours West Belmont and Ford Grant. West, played by Weary, is a rancher dealing with commitment issues, while Ford, portrayed by O’Pry, is a record label owner who has long been interested in West’s sister, Rosie, played by Galway.

The story takes another turn when country-pop singer Skylar Stone, played by Dickerson, arrives in the mountain town, bringing new complications to the characters’ relationships.

McGroarty will portray Cora, while Reid-Gantzert has been cast as Emmy Belmont and Mulholland as Oliver Belmont. Zumbado will play Tabitha, with Hamilton portraying Bash Rousseau.

Heidi Cole McAdams serves as writer, showrunner and executive producer. Marc Webb will direct the first two episodes and executive produce, while Silver serves as an executive producer alongside Temple Hill producers Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and James Seidman.

The Rose Hill book series currently includes four novels: Wild Love, Wild Eyes, Wild Side and Wild Card. Amazon has not yet announced a release date for the television adaptation.
