Rockstar Games has explained why it is difficult to showcase Grand Theft Auto 6, saying the upcoming game contains so many features and activities that presenting everything in a trailer or preview is challenging.

Speaking to Kinda Funny, Rockstar Games’ Rob Nelson reportedly described GTA 6 as an “extremely tough game to show off” because Rockstar has “so many cool things” happening in the game.

Kinda Funny Games’ Andy Cortez shared the comments while discussing Rockstar’s extended look at GTA 6, which was released through Netflix on August 27.

The roughly 30-minute presentation showed different gameplay elements without the traditional narration used in previous promotional material.

Cortez said Nelson explained that Rockstar wanted to create something that had not been done before. Instead of having a narrator guide viewers through the footage, the extended look allowed gameplay sequences to demonstrate different parts of GTA 6.

The presentation received different reactions from players, with some questioning the absence of narration while others continued examining the footage for details.

Cortez also said Nelson described GTA 6 as a game that “kind of has everything”, suggesting players will discover many of its features during their own playthroughs.

Kinda Funny co-host Greg Miller discussed some of the gameplay seen during a visit to Rockstar North, including different methods of stealing vehicles.

Nelson has previously indicated that the main story could take around 80 hours to complete, although players may spend additional time exploring activities across Vice City.
