Asian Highways: Pakistan elected network chairperson
Pakistan’s ministry of communications has been elected as chairperson of the Asian Highways Network Group.
ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan’s ministry of communications has been elected as chairperson of the Asian Highways Network Group at a meeting held in Bangkok to work towards improvement in the Asian highways network, which is spread across 28 countries. The gathering was held under the auspices of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific. The group includes delegations from China, Russia,Iran, India and Malaysia, besides representatives of development and financial Institutions.
