Taylor Swift was reportedly upset by a comparison to Meghan Markle following comedian Nikki Glaser’s comments about attending Swift’s wedding to Travis Kelce, according to a report.

The issue reportedly began after Glaser discussed the wedding during her Caesars Palace Las Vegas residency.

TMZ published audio from the comedian’s set on September 6, in which she said she barely knew Swift and Kelce despite receiving an invitation.

Glaser described herself as "a huge Swiftie" and said she was likely "the biggest Swiftie" at the wedding. She recalled receiving the invitation and said she "never thought in a million years" she would attend.

"I don't even know them, but I got invited," Glaser said.

According to Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack report, a source claimed Swift was "furious with" Glaser over the comments.

The insider also said, "The worst part is that it's true," while claiming some celebrity guests "barely knew" Swift and that others "had never met her."

The report said the comments turned attention towards the wedding guest list and how closely some attendees knew the couple.

According to sources, some guests did not have Swift’s phone number and "went right back to being strangers" after the wedding.

The source also claimed that a comparison had been made between Swift’s wedding and Meghan Markle’s, suggesting that the Duchess of Sussex knew some of the celebrities at her own wedding better than Swift knew certain guests at hers.

For Swift, the comparison was reportedly "absolutely mortifying", according to the insider. The source further claimed Glaser’s comments made the wedding sound "less like a celebration" and more like "celebrity casting".
