Brian Hickerson’s brother speaks out after bar brawl linked to Hayden Panettiere

Zach Hickerson has spoken about a bar brawl involving himself and his brother Brian Hickerson following the death of actress Hayden Panettiere.

The brothers were detained after a physical altercation at Wild Wing Cafe in Greenville, South Carolina. According to an eyewitness account, the incident began after the brothers exchanged words with other patrons about Panettiere.

Zach and another person allegedly grabbed at each other, while Brian reportedly threw a bar stool as other customers attempted to break up the fight. Both brothers were handcuffed after police arrived.

Brian was released at the scene, while Zach was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct. He was later released after posting bond.

A video shared online showed Brian sitting on the ground with blood on his face. He could be heard telling officers, "GPD leaked it when my girlfriend died," referring to the Greenville Police Department.

Following his release, Zach told TMZ that he was frustrated by rumours and misinformation surrounding the family.

"It's just super frustrating all that we've been through and all the rumors that get started and then people believe them and then they attack as a result of the rumors," Zach said. When asked whether he wanted to clarify the rumours, he declined to elaborate and said he wanted to return to his life.

The incident comes as the investigation into Panettiere's death continues. Both brothers were present when the actress was declared dead on August 16.

Brian previously released a statement through his attorney saying the medical examiner found no evidence of foul play and asking people to "allow the investigation to proceed."

Zach also previously urged people to stop speculating about Panettiere's death "until the facts can be released from the investigation."
