Dakota Johnson and Machine Gun Kelly were spotted together in New York City on Friday night, prompting speculation about the nature of their relationship.

According to TMZ, the newly single actress and rock musician were seen arriving separately at Taylor Swift’s Tribeca apartment while the singer was reportedly out of town.

Johnson arrived first in a black SUV, with a member of Swift’s team helping her gain access. Around 30 minutes later, Kelly arrived and was escorted inside by Johnson’s security guard.

The pair reportedly spent several hours together before leaving and travelling to Johnson’s nearby hotel, where they remained for the night.

Kelly was also seen helping Johnson out of a car before they entered the hotel.

However, there is currently no confirmation that Johnson and Kelly are romantically involved. Their meeting may have been entirely platonic, and the circumstances surrounding their time together remain unclear.

TMZ noted that one possible connection between the two is Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding in July. Johnson is a longtime friend of Swift, while Kelly has been friends with Kelce for years.

It is unclear whether they knew each other before the wedding or first connected there.

The sighting comes weeks after Johnson split from singer Role Model. Kelly previously ended his relationship with Megan Fox.

Swift was reportedly not in New York during the meetup, with a separate sighting placing her and Kelce together in Kansas City that same night.
