Mariska Hargitay shares favourite moment from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding

Mariska Hargitay has revealed her favourite moment from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding after attending the couple’s July 3 celebration at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The Law & Order: SVU star attended the wedding with her husband, Peter Hermann, and discussed the experience during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on September 9. Hargitay said she was “still floating from that wedding”.

“It was so spectacular and so intimate, I have to say. I have to say, I am blown away, because when there’s a wedding with that many guests, you think, ‘OK, it’s gonna be that.’ And it just wasn’t.”

Hargitay said Swift and Kelce managed to create an intimate atmosphere despite the venue’s capacity of around 20,000 people.

“I even say that the vows were my favorite part of the whole wedding. It was that magical,” she revealed.

Hargitay also recalled her friendship with Swift, which began more than a decade ago after the singer named her cat Olivia Benson after Hargitay’s Law & Order: SVU character.

Hargitay later appeared in Swift’s “Bad Blood” music video in 2015.

The pair were also seen together at an NBA Finals game in June, where they wore matching “Stevie Knicks” T-shirts.

“It was pretty spectacular. I had run from my theater — I was doing a play at the time — [I] physically ran from my theater to the game,” Hargitay recalled.

Reflecting on Swift, Hargitay previously called her a “boss lady” who was “warm and smart and kind”, adding that she admired how the singer showed others “how to be fearless”.
