Alix Earle reveals why she would remove Alex Cooper feud from Netflix show

Alix Earle says she would cut her Alex Cooper feud from Earle Meets World if given the chance to edit the Netflix show

Alix Earle says there is one storyline from her new Netflix reality series Earle Meets World that she would remove if given the opportunity: her ongoing feud with Alex Cooper.

Earle and her sister, Ashtin Earle, discussed the series during a visit to PEOPLE’s offices ahead of its September 4 release. During a game testing how well the sisters know each other, they were asked which storyline they would cut from the show. Earle held up a whiteboard with one word: “Alex,” referring to Cooper.

The Alex Cooper feud is one of several personal storylines featured in Earle Meets World, which follows Earle and her family through a turbulent year. The series also covers her breakup with NFL player Braxton Berrios, family tensions involving their stepmother Ashley Dupré and the discovery that Earle and Ashtin are carriers of the BRCA2 gene following their mother’s breast cancer diagnosis.

Earle addresses her dispute with Cooper in the series from her perspective. The tension began after Earle’s podcast, Hot Mess, left Cooper’s Unwell network in March 2025.

Cooper later accused Earle of creating “fake drama” online after Earle reposted a TikTok video criticising Cooper. Cooper challenged Earle to address the issue directly, while Earle later teased her response on social media.

The pair’s professional relationship had already attracted attention following Earle’s departure from Unwell. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Earle described the situation behind the scenes as “a little bit of a hot mess.”

Despite the drama, Earle and Ashtin said filming the reality show ultimately brought their family closer together.
