Environment real time dashboard
The Punjab government has launched a real-time air quality dashboard integrating ground monitoring, satellite imagery, weather data and air pollution forecasts to enable authorities to identify pollution hotspots and take timely enforcement measures.
The dashboard has been developed through collaboration between the Punjab Environment Protection Agency (EPA) and the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development. The province's air quality monitoring network has expanded from three stations in 2024 to 59 currently. The network will be expanded to 100 monitoring stations, officials said.
