Model Town Club: Registrar extends stay order
The registrar for cooperative housing societies on Wednesday extended till November 23
LAHORE:
The registrar for cooperative housing societies on Wednesday extended till November 23 a stay order against construction work in Model Town Club (MTC). The petition, filed by Model Town Residents Association President Amer Bakht Azam, names both Model Town Society (MTS) and MTC as respondents. The MTC counsel was present at Wednesday’s hearing with the registrar but the MTS counsel was not. The registrar advised the MTC counsel to tell his clients not to arrange any party or event in a marquee at the club – challenged as illegal by the society and residents association – while the stay order was in place.
