Bluff Blast: Clerk admits to setting off cracker as joke
After the cracker blast at a small bar room, bar members gathered outside their chambers.

Panic has gripped the lawyers’ community in Dera Ghazi Khan’s katchery bar room after a cracker went off in the vicinity on Wednesday morning.
According to police officials, a police team arrested a clerk who admitted to have setting off the cracker as a joke.
After the cracker blast at a small bar room, bar members gathered outside their chambers.
When a police team reached the site and investigated the matter, officials discovered that a clerk had installed the cracker in the washroom.
A bar room peon told the police that he saw clerk Tariq coming out of the washroom an hour ago. Police officials then arrested Advocate Farrukh Bukhari’s clerk Tariq and took him in for questioning. Tariq said that he had orchestrated the cracker blast as a joke but district bar president Iqbal Saqib said that this was the third incident of its kind in the last few months.
“This is an attempt by our political rivals to scare the lawyers,” Saqib said.
