'Married at First Sight' star Holly Ditchfield shares heartbreaking loss of twin sons

Married at First Sight UK star Holly Ditchfield has announced the deaths of her twin boys, nine days after their birth

Married at First Sight UK star Holly Ditchfield has announced the deaths of her twin sons, Georgie and Marley, nine days after they were born prematurely.

Ditchfield, 31, shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram on Saturday, September 5. She gave birth to the twins on August 26, when she was 23 weeks and five days pregnant. According to Ditchfield, Georgie died on September 3, followed by his brother Marley the following morning.

She said both boys died in the arms of their parents, describing the experience as both a privilege and an immense pain. Ditchfield also reflected on the time she and Summers were able to spend with their sons, saying she would relive those nine days despite the grief.

“Nothing could ever prepare you for losing your children,” she wrote, adding that she had imagined watching Georgie and Marley grow up, hear their voices and see them reach milestones.

Ditchfield later addressed her followers through Instagram Stories, saying she was struggling to process the loss and accept that her sons would not be coming home.

“We are just trying to take each minute, each hour and each day as it comes,” she wrote.

Ditchfield, who has two older children from a previous relationship, received messages of support from fellow Married at First Sight UK stars, including Helen Johnson and Amy Kenyon.

The reality star thanked those who had reached out while she and Summers continue to grieve the loss of their twin boys.
