Elizabeth Chambers has ruled out getting married again following her divorce from actor Armie Hammer, saying she spent years finalising the end of their marriage.

“Absolutely not. I spent years getting unmarried. Why would I [get married] again?” Chambers, 44, told Us while promoting her new podcast, The Dash, with Lemonada Media.

Chambers and Hammer, 40, announced their separation in July 2020 after 10 years of marriage. The former couple finalised their divorce in 2023 after several years of negotiations. They share two children, daughter Harper, 12, and son Ford, 9.

Speaking about the split, Chambers said divorce was “the last thing” she and Hammer wanted. She explained that she had believed she had found her lifelong partner and placed a strong value on marriage, monogamy and family.

Chambers also said one of the biggest lessons she learned from the experience was that she cannot control another person’s actions. While she acknowledged that the divorce was difficult, she said she would not change her life now.

The podcaster and television host also discussed how she and Hammer have handled the situation as parents. Chambers said her main priority has been protecting their children from the public attention surrounding their split.

According to Chambers, what matters most is that Harper and Ford know they have two parents who love them and provide them with unconditional support.

Chambers discusses relationships, motherhood, dating and other personal topics alongside podcast co-host Marissa Hermer on The Dash. New episodes are released every Tuesday.

For now, Chambers appears focused on her children, podcast and life after divorce rather than another trip down the aisle.
