Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann's 15-year-old son indicted on seven felony sex crime charges

A Fulton County grand jury in Georgia has formally indicted Kroy Biermann Jr., the 15-year-old son of former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak and former NFL player Kroy Biermann.

The teenager faces seven felony counts, including aggravated sodomy, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated child molestation, false imprisonment, and three counts of sexual battery against a child under the age of 16. Authorities confirmed that he is being charged as an adult.

The indictment stems from an incident that allegedly occurred on 23 April at a Life Time Fitness facility in Alpharetta, Georgia. According to court documents and police reports, Biermann Jr., known as "KJ", led a 15-year-old female acquaintance from the facility's café into a family changing room, where he allegedly restrained her physically and forced her to engage in non-consensual sexual acts.

Following the alleged encounter, the victim was evaluated by a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, and a sexual assault kit was administered. Following an investigation, police arrested Biermann Jr. on 17 August.

Zolciak and the defense team have strongly denied all charges. In public statements, Zolciak called the allegations "reckless and deeply troubling," asserting that her son categorically denies any involvement or misconduct.

The defence has further stated that tests conducted by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation found no male DNA on or inside the alleged victim, and noted that Biermann Jr. voluntarily passed a polygraph examination. His legal team maintains that the teenager is fully innocent and that the allegations stem from a personal dispute.

Pre-trial court proceedings in Fulton County Superior Court are expected to begin later this month.
