Admissions Policy: Quota seat for Cholistan students

BAHAWALPUR:
Governor Punjab Sardar Mohammad Latif Khan Khosa has approved one seat each for students belonging to Cholistan in University Colleges of Engineering (UCE) of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU), Multan. According to a notification issued by the Higher Education Department, a university spokesperson said that the decision would enable students from the Cholistan region to seek professional education. IUB vice chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Mukhtar has hailed this decision and called it a significant step towards the academic development of remote areas.
