Uzbek troupe charms audience
A vibrant performance by an Uzbek cultural troupe in Islamabad drew praise from dignitaries and highlighted the growing cultural ties between Pakistan and Uzbekistan. Federal Minister for Culture Aurangzeb Khan Khichi spoke on the occasion, commending the troupe's performance and stressing the importance of strengthening bilateral relations. He said Pakistan values its ties with Uzbekistan and looks forward to diversifying them further.
The minister noted that both countries share deep cultural and historical connections, pointing to similarities in language, cuisine, traditions, and religious heritage. "Our peoples are bound together by shared words, flavours and faith. These commonalities make our relationship unique and enduring," he remarked.
