The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has proposed conducting a mock fire drill at Parliament House on September 3 as part of preparations to test emergency response arrangements at the country's parliamentary complex.
According to the proposal, the mock fire drill is scheduled to be held at 11am on September 3, for which the CDA has sought consent from the National Assembly and Senate secretariats.
The CDA has sent a formal letter to the administrations of the National Assembly and Senate, seeking their approval to conduct the exercise at Parliament House.
