KARACHI:

The government has notified Export Facilitation Committees to address exporters' concerns, resolve disputes and prevent harassment by tax officials, Minister of State for Finance and Railways Bilal Azhar Kayani said on Friday.

Chairing a consultative meeting with All Pakistan Exporters Associations in Karachi, Kayani briefed exporters on tax relief measures announced in the recent budget and discussed possible steps to address their concerns.

The minister reaffirmed the government's commitment to export-oriented industrial growth and assured industry stakeholders of continuous policy support and open communication channels.

"The purpose of the committees is to facilitate exports, help resolve matters raised by exporters, provide an effective mechanism for the amicable resolution of disputes, and ensure that exporters are not subjected to harassment by tax officials," Kayani said.
