Olivia Rodrigo is getting a major new exhibit at the Grammy Museum, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of her “the cure” music video.

Titled Olivia Rodrigo: the cure unraveled, the exhibition will open to the public on September 2 and run through February 22, 2027. It will feature handmade sets, props, artwork, storyboards and behind-the-scenes photographs from the visually elaborate video, along with interactive photo opportunities.

The exhibition is being presented in connection with Rodrigo’s latest album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, and will give fans a closer look at the creative process behind one of its standout visual pieces.

Rodrigo has a personal connection to the museum, making the exhibition particularly meaningful. “I grew up going to the Grammy Museum,” she said, describing the opportunity to have her work displayed there as a “full circle moment.”

The singer will also appear at the Grammy Museum on September 1 for a special evening programme ahead of the exhibition’s public opening. Filmmaker and author Cameron Crowe will moderate a conversation with Rodrigo about her new album, creative process, career and upcoming tour. The event will also include a special performance, with attendees receiving an opportunity to view the exhibition after the programme.

The museum says the exhibition will eventually expand beyond the cure, with additional items from Rodrigo’s career being added in early fall. Some of those pieces have never previously been shown publicly, giving longtime fans another reason to visit.

The exhibition arrives as Rodrigo prepares for the next stage of her career following the release of you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love. The project has continued to expand the singer’s visual world, with “the cure” serving as one of its most distinctive examples.

For Rodrigo, the museum installation offers a chance to preserve that creative work in a completely different setting. What began as a music video can now be explored as a collection of physical sets, objects and artwork, allowing fans to see how the world of “the cure” was constructed.

The Grammy Museum exhibition will run in Los Angeles from September 2, 2026, through February 22, 2027.
