Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza, known online as Alorah Ziva, has removed a sexual assault claim from her civil lawsuit against streamer Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Peters, as his criminal case in Massachusetts continues.

Mendoza’s second amended complaint, filed in Florida on October 8, removes the sexual battery count while retaining five other claims against Peters.

Her attorney, Drew Moss, told NBC News that the decision was made to avoid interfering with the ongoing criminal proceedings.

“Ms. Mendoza does not want her civil case to interfere with that process,” Moss said.

Peters was charged in September with rape, drugging someone for sexual intercourse and procuring liquor for someone under 21.

The charges concern an alleged encounter in May 2025 at his family’s home on Cape Cod. Peters denies the criminal allegations.

Mendoza’s civil lawsuit continues to seek more than $50,000 in damages. The remaining claims are battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, fraudulent misrepresentation, fraudulent concealment, and unauthorised publication of her name and likeness.

The complaint also alleges that Peters administered cosmetic injections during a livestream in November 2025 without legally valid consent.

It includes screenshots of livestream comments warning that Mendoza was 17 at the time of the alleged incident and claims Peters knew her age.

Peters had requested a pause in the civil proceedings on September 29, arguing that responding to the lawsuit could risk self-incrimination in the criminal case.

His lawyers also argued that invoking his Fifth Amendment rights could negatively affect his civil defence.

A hearing on the request to pause the civil case is listed for October 28. Meanwhile, a separate hearing in the criminal proceedings is listed for October 22, after Peters’ scheduled October 14 arraignment was cancelled, according to NBC News.
