Hira Qaiser crowned winner of 'Pakistan Idol' 2026

Hira Qaiser from Faisalabad was crowned the winner of Pakistan Idol 2026, taking home a cash prize of Rs1.5 million at the grand finale on Sunday.

Hira, who comes from a middle-class family, won over the audience and judges with her vocals and strong performances. The singer's journey reached an emotional climax during the grand finale, where Hira delivered a performance that cemented her position as one of the season’s standout performers.

Presented with the winning award by host Shafaat Ali, Hira walked onto the stage while holding her baby boy, accepting the winning plaque with tears in her eyes.

The announcement of Hira's win was followed by celebrations on stage as confetti filled the venue and fellow performers and judges gathered around the singer to congratulate her. Singers Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif Aslam, Bilal Maqsood, and Zeb Bangash, along with actor Fawad Khan were among those who shared the celebratory moment with the newly-crowned winner.

Visibly overwhelmed by her victory, Hira expressed her gratitude to the show and everyone who supported her journey. “I have no words. I want to say my heartfelt thanks to Pakistan Idol. I am very, very happy,” she said after receiving the award.

The finale also featured other competitors vying for the coveted Pakistan Idol title. The contestants included Maham Tahir from Khanpur, Waqar Hussain and Tarab Nafees from Karachi, Samya Gohar from Lahore, and Aryan Naveed Bhatti from Dera Ghazi Khan. The finalists were also recognised for their performances, reportedly receiving Rs500,000 each as prize money.

With her win, Hira becomes the latest singer to add her name to the Pakistan Idol winners’ list, concluding the season on an emotional and celebratory note. The show's collaboration with Express Entertainment further strengthened its television reach, helping carry the contestants' journeys into households across the country.
