Disney teams up with Dhar Mann for 20-episode content deal
Dhar Mann Studios and Disney are teaming up on a new content partnership that will bring 20 episodes of original programming to audiences, expanding the creator-led studio’s relationship with one of the entertainment industry’s biggest companies.
Dhar Mann Studios said the partnership will focus on stories designed to be uplifting and relatable, drawing on themes and experiences that can connect with viewers across generations. The studio claims its content reaches more than 170 million followers worldwide and generates nearly 300 million views each week across platforms.
Dhar Mann, founder of Dhar Mann Studios, said the collaboration is particularly meaningful because Disney stories were part of his childhood. He described the partnership as an opportunity to create new stories for a future generation while combining the strengths of both companies.
The companies have not yet revealed specific details about the 20-episode order, including titles, release dates or the platforms where the programming will be available. More information is expected to be announced later.
Based in Burbank, California, Dhar Mann Studios operates from a three-stage, 125,000-square-foot production facility. The company has built a broad digital entertainment presence through partnerships with major brands and platforms, including Adobe, the NFL, Gap and Samsung TV Plus.
Dhar Mann Studios also operates a FAST channel on Samsung TV Plus and has developed a global vertical-video slate with Fox Entertainment.
Mann said the studio has spent years developing a direct relationship with its audience and learning which stories resonate with viewers. He added that Disney’s long history of creating memorable characters and stories could complement Dhar Mann Studios’ digital-first approach.
The new Disney partnership marks another expansion for Dhar Mann Studios as it continues moving beyond social media into broader entertainment and television opportunities.
