Meghan Markle in talks for 'The Gentlemen' season 3 role at Netflix
Meghan Markle is reportedly in early talks to join The Gentlemen season 3, marking a potential return to acting

Meghan Markle is reportedly in early talks to join The Gentlemen season 3, potentially marking another major step in her return to acting.
According to Variety, the Duchess of Sussex is considering a role in the Netflix crime comedy created by Guy Ritchie. However, the potential casting is still in its early stages, and no contract has been signed. Markle’s character has also not been revealed.
The Gentlemen stars Theo James as Eddie Horniman, an aristocratic soldier who unexpectedly inherits his late father’s estate and discovers that it is connected to a large underground cannabis operation. The first season became a hit for Netflix, while season 2 is scheduled to premiere on September 3.
The series has not yet been officially renewed for a third season, meaning Markle’s potential involvement remains dependent on the show receiving another season order.
A return to acting would represent a significant development for Markle, who became widely known for playing Rachel Zane on Suits. She starred in the legal drama for seven seasons from 2011 to 2018 before stepping away from acting following her marriage to Prince Harry.
Markle already has an established relationship with Netflix through Archewell Productions, the production company she shares with Harry. Their partnership has produced projects including Harry & Meghan, Heart of Invictus and Markle’s lifestyle series With Love, Meghan.
The possible The Gentlemen role comes amid reports that Markle and Harry are planning to spend an extended period in the U.K. with their two children after several years living in California.
Markle is also set to make a cameo appearance as herself in the upcoming Amazon MGM comedy Close Personal Friends, starring Brie Larson and Lily Collins.
Representatives for Markle and Netflix declined to comment on the reported casting talks.
