The Duskbloods leak reveals 14 character classes ahead of network test
The Duskbloods has reportedly leaked 14 character classes ahead of FromSoftware's first public Closed Network Test for the Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive.
According to a data server update reported by Dark Soku, the leaked information includes names and descriptions for the 14 classes expected to be available during the test.
The characters include Blood-Eater Walter, Guillotine Gillian, Foul-Rot Veronica and Nail-Pierced Sebastian.
Other revealed classes are Coffin-Bearer Maurice, Thread-Torn Oscar, Mud-Treader Ulan, Candle-Snuffer Isabel, Gut-Rinner Randolph, Gazer-of-Flesh Yuri, Ash-Crown Camilla, Rust-Gospel Baldur, Dusk-Silt Elsa and First-Shard, identified as Nameless Shadow.
The leaked descriptions give each character a distinct backstory and combat concept. Walter is a rare-blood hunter who tracks others using his sense of smell, while Gillian is an executioner carrying a large iron guillotine blade.
Veronica is a blind nun whose footprints cause anything they touch to rot, and Sebastian uses self-inflicted wounds to fuel his abilities.
Maurice carries an iron coffin containing a mud-like creature that was once his family, while Oscar uses the flesh of enemies to reinforce his own body.
Ulan's enhanced legs allow her to create a poisonous swamp as she moves, and Isabel can manipulate shadows to trap and drain her enemies' blood.
Randolph uses a mechanised body and spear, Yuri can cause targets' blood flow to intensify through his gaze, and Camilla uses a mixture of ashes and blood to petrify enemies.
Baldur attacks using blood mist produced while reciting prayers, while Elsa can transform into a blood-mud substance to evade attacks.
Nameless Shadow is described as an imperfect mass of flesh known as "First Blood" capable of mimicking techniques from every bloodline.
The Duskbloods is a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, with its Closed Network Test scheduled to give selected players an opportunity to experience the game before release.
