Imran's vision has returned to 'almost normal' after treatment, Adiala SP tells SC
Report says Imran has also been examined by several government doctors, with records of the check-ups available

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s eye vision has returned to “almost normal” following treatment, according to a report submitted by the Adiala jail superintendent to the Supreme Court on Monday.
"Significant improvement in Imran's eye has been noticed, and his vision returned to almost normal. The medical interventions and improvement of his vision suggested that the jail administration left no stone unturned in providing the convicted prisoner with the best healthcare facilities from the top public sector teaching hospital of the ICT," said the report.
It added that Imran had also been examined by several government doctors, with records of the check-ups available. He had received treatment from an ophthalmologist for an eye condition.
"It is further submitted that when the convicted prisoner Imran was diagnosed with the eye disease, immediate medical intervention was made by the jail administration. He was treated at PIMS Islamabad by the top Ophthalmologist of the twin cities, i.e. Head of Ophthalmology, PIMS Islamabad, Dr Muhammad Arif Khan, and Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon of Alshifa Trust Eye Hospital Rawalpindi, Dr Nadeem Qureshi," it stated.
