'Heated Rivalry' and 'Hacks' lead 2026 Dorian TV Awards winners

Heated Rivalry and the final season of Hacks emerged as the biggest winners at the 18th annual Dorian TV Awards, with both series taking home four awards from GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics.

Heated Rivalry won Best TV Drama and Best LGBTQ TV Show, adding to the show's growing collection of honours following its breakout first season. François Arnaud, who plays Scott Hunter in the series, also won Best Supporting TV Performance — Drama, while creator Jacob Tierney received another honour connected to the series.

The wins continue an impressive awards run for the Canadian hockey romance, which has already picked up a Peabody Award, a GLAAD Media Award and multiple Canadian Screen Awards. The series was nominated in seven Dorian categories, including Best Written TV Show and acting recognition for Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie.

Hacks, meanwhile, took home Best TV Comedy, with Jean Smart winning Best TV Performance — Comedy for her role as Deborah Vance. The show's final season was also among the ceremony's strongest performers.

Other major winners included Half Man, which won Best TV Movie or Limiteza\d Series, while Rhea Seehorn won Best TV Performance — Drama for Pluribus. Widow's Bay star Kate O'Flynn won Best Supporting TV Performance — Comedy, and the Apple TV series also took Best Genre TV Show.

Alien: Earth and Pluribus shared the award for Most Visually Striking TV Show, while South Park won Best Animated Show and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert was named Best Current Affairs Show.

The Dorian Awards recognise television and streaming programmes across mainstream and LGBTQ-focused categories, with winners selected by GALECA members. For Heated Rivalry, the latest victories add to a remarkable year for a series that became a breakout international hit following its debut.
